Chapters on Chinese, Japanesse and Korean. The perspective is that there is a common reading process in different languages and orthographies and that non-alphabetic writing systems work well for their users.

My current work is focussed on delineating the major concepts of myu comprehensive theory of reading. It is intended to elad to a series of dialogues on differnet aspects of the model. Currently I'm working with Peter Frieson ambiguity and redundancy in reading and on the nature of wording. I'm also working with Steve Strauss on reading and the brain
